MEETS supports Deep Linking, enabling you to link to a specific page, session or recording in MEETS.

This option is available only for LMSs using LTI configurations that MEETS supports, and contingent on the LMS admin enabling Deep Linking.

When opening the deep link dropdown, you will get the option to choose if the link will open on a specific page in MEETS ( e.g. appointment booking or recording), or on a specific event in MEETS, which will then give you a dropdown to choose from the upcoming sessions, or on a specific content from MEETS which will then give you a dropdown to choose from past recordings.

Note: If you would like to deep link to a specific event or content, you must first have an event or recording existing in that course in MEETS before you can select it for deep linking. You can create sessions by entering MEETS using a regular MEETS entry link.

A) Moodle:

Turn editing on. Add an activity, and choose the MEETS LTI tool.

Click "Select content"

The MEETS Deep Linking page will open for you to choose your preferred MEETS endpoint for the activity.

B) Brightspace:

Add an activity to a module in the content section. Choose the MEETS tool.

The MEETS Deep Linking page will open for you to choose your preferred MEETS endpoint for the content.

C) Blackboard Learn:

First assure that the admins set up the MEETS LTI as a Deep Link tool in the placements section.

In the content section of the course. Press "Build Content" , and choose the MEETS tool.

The MEETS Deep Linking page will open for you to choose your preferred MEETS endpoint for the activity.

D) Canvas:

You have a few options in Canvas:

1) In the  Announcement or Assignments section,  add wording in the content field, highlight the words, press on the app button and choose the MEETS app. If your admin turned on the icon option, the icon of MEETS will appear as well for you to press on it instead of the dropdown.

The MEETS Deep Link page will appear. Choose the MEETS endpoint and the highlighted words will become hyperlinked to that endpoint.

You can also go to the Module section. In a module, add an item, choose External Tool, choose MEETS and choose the page content or event you wish to point to.
